Remodeling for Woodstock homes

Woodstock has older homes along Main Street and Route 11, many with plaster walls, tall ceilings and kitchens that were added onto more than once, and newer houses on the edges of town with builder grade kitchens and baths that are ready for an upgrade. Both are good projects. The older ones just need more care up front.

What we do in Woodstock

Where a Woodstock project starts

Most Woodstock projects start with a visit to the house so we can see what the room is working with: how the plumbing runs, what is behind an old wall, whether a kitchen can borrow space from a back porch or a dining room. Then you come up to the showroom to pick tile, counters and hardware with Caroline or one of our designers.

FAQ

Woodstock questions

  • Do you really come down to Woodstock?

Yes. Woodstock is about a 35 minute drive down I-81 from our shop on Loudoun Street, and we schedule the job so the crew is not losing half a day on the road.

  • Can you work on an older home near Main Street?

Yes. Older homes are a lot of what we do. Joe spent years as a home inspector, so we look at the wiring, plumbing and framing before we price anything, and the estimate reflects what is really there.

  • Where do we pick out finishes?

At our showroom at 603 S Loudoun St in Winchester. Tile, countertops, cabinets and hardware are all there in person, and a designer walks through them with you.
